they say its a free app. ya to download and put on your computer. but if you want to use it you need to pay $9.99, to watch something i already pay a subsription for!! REALLY!!!

Downloaded the app and paid for the ability to play movies in the app. Works well. I actually really like the app in the menu bar. Sometimes I’m working and it’s nice just having something playing but hidden.
I dont know why there isnt more stars for this app. It works great! My only gripe is the price:( It shrinks small so that you can watch while doing something else on your PC and expands if you want to watch bigger. It dosen’t take up all the screen though like watching throuhg the browser. Overall does its job, but again a bit pricey.
the app opened fine n then i logged in n i paid for the app upgrade and now it keeps asking me to install silverlight when i wanna watch a movie. i tried installing several times now from the microsoft site and its not working???? this is useless!!!!!
Honestly, this app is completely worthless. The app is free. Great you think. So you download it and log in. Nothing special here. You can browse Netflix. Again, nothing special here. You click a movie and the app asks you to pay ten bucks to watch a movie? Aside from trying to take ten bucks from me, what does this app actually do? Absolutely nothing. That’s what it does. It’s a glorified web browser that tries to take $10 from me. This is absolutely ridiculous, what’s the point of having a free app when you can’t even do ANYTHING with it without paying? Even if I COULD do more, this is nowhere near worth $10. Ripoff.. Might as well use safari then.. At least that doesn’t try and charge me $10.
It’s great to finally see a Netflix app that can play a movie without the browser. IMHO this is the Best Netflix App you can get, and I’ve tried a few.
Overall I’d say it’s an okay app. It’s easier than having to use the web browser, sign in/out, etc. all the time. BUT it’s very buggy. It has some issues with the borders, and it doesn’t always register what I click (i.e. add/subtract selection from list, star rating, etc.) I don’t think this app is worth paying for. Even if it ran perfectly I feel this app should have been offered freely through Netflix. I’d still have to say It’s still WAAAAAY better than the YouTube app!
This does not allow you to download the silverlight package if you are running Yosemite…beware if you are running this Operating System. I did get a refund, but like usual, its never easy to do. Not sure why Apple is allowing this to sell on their app store.
I don’t like this app. It freezes a lot and is difficult to navigate through. I only bought this app because my FlashPlayer refuses to update so this is the only way I can watch Netflix
So… I get that this is to stream netflix. However, I am not understanding why I would have to pay $10 for it. With the free version I can do everything except watch movies. Why does the free version even exist? You might as well just log on to your web browser and watch it from there.

bugs out on me more often than not and freezes a lot. it’s not bad when it works, but ...
Ok, so you have to pay to watch movies, okay I get that… But there are no instruction on their (support) web site on how to delete the software if you want to. Normal deleting methods don’t work. Either they are lame on customer support/relations or they are trying to keep in on your computer.

Really? I’m the sucker…you download the app but you can’t actually watch movies in the app unless you buy the pro version.

as a programmer let me say its not that hard to add a quit feature actually thats usually where i start dont get this app

Why would you list this app for free to strem netflix and then charge $10 to unlock it….Not very good idea. thats why you get 1 star
