It works but it does nothing really useful. Basically, this is a tiny, limited web browser that only opens netflix.com. So instead of opening Safari and clicking on your Netflix bookmark, you open this app and then click on the big white triangle in your finder menu bar to reach a tiny rendition of netflix.com. Both take two steps, this one gives you a less appealing netflix experience, what’s the point??

Load of crap! It simply shows you movies on netflix and when you click on one, it opens your browser and directs you to netflix online. To watch movies in the app, be ready to pay over $11!!

I paid the 11 dollar fee to watch videos in the browser, but it doesn’t work. It asks me to install Sliverlight, but their link does nothing, thus I am stuck at a screen that says I’m almost there. I’ll be almost there forever. Kind of like ‘almost’ passing your exams… or ‘almost’ winning the lottery… almost is as good as NOTHING. Please fix this issue, I will be contacting Apple to arrange a refund in the mean time.

The resolution of the stream coming through this app is less than what you get from Netflix directly through your browser. Very disappointed!!

I got the free app and i could not stream through it without getting the full version this is crap

Last update broke the app. If you don’t fix it, just issue refund.

It does not work on my computer. Give me my money back. Streaming needs silverlight. I tryed to install it folowing the instructions and its dead!!!

It wouldn’t even open, tried to throw it away in my trash bin and it won’t delete because it’s still open! Yup, just my luck. Thanks

i rate only one star cuz i hit play on movie then i hit the download button for silver lite did not work. so i downloaded it from microsoft installed it. it still didnt work so i restarted the macbook pro and still dosent work pleas fix this problem

Sofar so great. Love my Netflix movies!!

After multiple attempts to make sure Silverlight was properly installed (seems to be), I conclude the problem is with this App which is not able to recognize that the latest version of Silverlight IS installed. I thought there might be an update that would correct the problem. No. So, I have to say this app isn’t very helpful.

It says i need updates and i am up to date!!!! GRRRRR

Dont bother, it says you need silverlight to use, ive downloaded that, but it still says to dowload it even after you do so. NEVERENEDING SILVERLIGHT DOWNLOAD LOOP. DEVELOPER YOU REALLY NEED TO FIX THIS OR COME UP WITH A SOLUTION!!!

- Tried both OSX El Capitan & Yosemite, patched accordingly. Neither work. (MacBook Pro 2014 - 16GB ea) - Constantly asks for Silverlight to be installed. - Hasn’t been updated in more than a year now (with all the updates since then, that’s probably why it doesn’t work) - Tried uninstalling - reinstalling Silverlight - reinstalling this app. Still didn’t work. - This app has GREAT potential - please post an update to it! Add option to dock the application. One star for now since I haven’t seen it actually work.

Tried this app on my MacBook Air, and it really works. I could watch my favorite shows and movies anytime on it. It’s a good app for Netflix. Though it does have a couple of issues that need work like me trying to exit fullscreen whenever I want to do something else, only to find out I can’t. Then there’s that bug where you can’t stop or pause a show you are watching, fullscreen or not, and you try to find a way to exit Streaming in fullscreen, only to never finding the icon on the top right for it. So I was hoping the developers would fix this issue soon.

I took the bait and bought the in-app purchase for $4.99 to watch Netflix content in the app itself, and guess what it does, it redirects to a Silverlight plug-in page with a dead link, rendering the app useless. I even tried installing the Silverlight plug-in manually and it still doesn’t work. It’s obvious that this app only exists to screw people out of money. I’ve already contacted Apple about this scam and getting a refund.

This won’t let you do anything other than pay $9.99 to stream!! Bait and switch!!!

I don’t understand the purpose of this app. A programm that does only display some menus - but nothing more if you do not want to pay 10 bucks??
